This sophisticated Italian link necklace is 18k gold electroplate over brass and made by a venerable goldsmith company in Italy. This particular piece is done in a "cable" style chain, where each uniformly sized oval is linked together. But this cable necklace is unique in that each oval link is corrugated with subtle texture AND THEN they are joined with polished round links.  It really looks exquisite.

This necklace is made by the Italian jewelry goldsmith company UnoAErre, also known as 1AR. It has a lobster-style clasp and also a round disc with the 1AR stamp on one side and Made in Italy on the other.

Just like real 18k gold, these necklaces and bracelets start off with a high shine and develop the most beautiful patina over time.
