We don't know anything specific about this marvelous piece, so we will call it a mystery masterpiece! It is a beautiful costume piece of jewelry, made back when costume jewlery was a true art form and the stones were set by hand.

It has a bar in the back to pin it as a brooch, but it also has a hook so you can hang it on a chain. The two gold-tone tassels hanging from the medallion feel like silk, even though they are completely metal. It just feels as good as it looks. And it looks like a million bucks.
