The ingenious origami construction of the Mighty Wallet was and is the original folded-wallet designed by Terrence Kelleman. The Mighty Wallet is also water-resistant. The fibers of the Mighty Wallet are not paper but plastic so they remain just as strong wet or dry. The Mighty Wallet can float on water if you’re only carrying a couple credit cards and ID. How cool is that? They are also impossible to tear. Trust us on that part. We tested it with two young boys who tried their HARDEST to tear these. When they discovered that it was impossible, they IMMEDIATELY wanted their own. The Tyvek microfiber used in the Dynomighty products is made from 100% HDPE (High-density polyethylene) which is the second most commonly recycled plastic. Twenty-five percent of the Tyvek material is recycled and can also BE recycled. The Tyvek material is one-tenth of the thickness of a human hair! The entire wallet is only 1/8th of one inch thick -but it can expand and is super strong!
Due to the low energy requirements needed in producing the Mighty Wallet, it already has a low carbon foot print compared to leather equivalents. Beyond the material itself they have created an innovative packaging that reduces the products weight by 66% and that means a smaller carbon foot print. The Mighty Wallets are shipped with carbon offsets and are distributed in over 30 countries - eliminating the need for international shipping only from the US.
