This is a great old medal from 1946 honoring veterans of world wars.The ribbon is grosgrain and has the American colours of red, white and blue. The medal itself is made of bronze and has a medallion in the middle with the words VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS around the bezel.

Along the top of the medal itself is the wording 47th ANNUAL NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT and along the borders are leaves and stars. The back is unmarked.

DIMENSIONS:  Medal diameter is 1⅜" and the ribbon is 1" x 1⅜" with the total length including ribbon being 2½" long. See all photos in gallery to view condition.
