This is a great old medal from France honoring a M.L. Hubert. The ribbon is grosgrain and has the country's colours of red, white and blue. The medal itself is made of a gold-tone metal and shows the portrait of the Queen of France with the words REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE on the face.
The back of the medal has the words MINISTERRE DU COMMERCE ET DE INDUSTRIE along the top, and in small print on the bottom the words HONNEUR TRAVAIL with the makers mark stamped very tiny along the rim. Engraved in the middle space is the name of the recipient M.L. HUBERT 1933.
DIMENSIONS: Medal diameter is 1" and the ribbon is 2⅝" x 1⅛" with the total length including ribbon being 3⅞" long. See all photos in gallery to view condition.
