This is such a glamorous little container! We call it a cachepot, as it would be perfect for a little floral arrangement, but you could use it to hold anything you like: candy, jewelry, make-up, business cards.... its just a great size and great shape.

It is in great vintage condition, with no nicks or chips and a little wear of the gold paint on the handle (see gallery). It is marked '393' on the base and we think it is most likely German or French, circa 1940's, maybe sooner.
