Lisa Renz is a native of Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art with a concentration in printmaking from the University of Dallas in 2004. In 2007, she received a Master of Fine Arts in studio art from the University of Tennessee, again with a concentration in printmaking. After living in Little Rock and New York City, she relocated to Dallas where she now has her own studio and continues to create mixed media works.
She is currently being represented by Boswell Mourot Fine Art Gallery in Little Rock, Arkansas and has now signed on with Shop Curio, where we are thrilled to be able to offer you some of her select works.
In addition to showings in Little Rock and Dallas, she has exhibited in galleries from St. Louis to Atlanta and of course New York City. Lisa currently has one of her sketchbooks in the Brooklyn Art Library, on permanent display.
When Lisa is not busy living and breathing art, she hops on a plane to travel the world, where she finds much inspiration for her art in countries such as India and Hungary. In times of stress , Lisa eats gourmet dark chocolate and tends to watch movies starring Emma Thompson over and over. Lisa fosters hopes of someday becoming a beekeeper.
